Ilume accurately assess the exact caloric needs for each dog, using a combination of user entered data and data synced from its devices. This gives our system the perfect calorific estimates for each meal.
An exact science
Forget cups and feel confident that you're getting your dog's serving sizes right. Simply press the button on the bowl and it will tell you the correct amount for that day.
Activity informed feeding
Active days require more calories than sedentary ones. Active muscles undergo a natural process of building and breaking down muscle protein, called protein turnover. During and after exercise, protein turnover increases to meet their metabolic needs.

Dogs age differently
One of the biggest myths is that 1 human year is 7 dog years. Small dogs are considered young adults at 9 months, while for larger breeds it's 2 years. Similarly, larger breeds reach old age earlier than small dogs. Their breed, age, weight, nutrition, mental stimulation and environmental factors have a huge impact on their nutritional needs. We identifies and tailors nutritional needs throughout your dog's journey.
Predictions based on past
Rain, hail, snow and sun all affect our chance for walkies. Our system learns how the weather affects your activity, and using weather data then pre-emts activity changes on those days, adjusting your feeding amounts in the background.

Sleep plays a critical part in developing and repairing your dogs immune system. It also helps with brain development, memory, and learning capacity. Sleep-deprived dogs are more prone to infections, as well as contributing to behavioural issues and low mood. With ilume, you can track and monitor your dog's sleep through the app.

Active play helps keep your dog's heart healthy, keeps the joints lubricated, and improves their mental health. Games with rules force your dog to use their brain, keeping old age at bay. Through our data points we can learn and track the various ways you play with your dog and where.

Separation Disorder
Anxiety, depression, agitation and distress are all conditions that can occur with separation from your dog, but may not be visible to you. Using advanced monitoring techniques we track their behavioural and emotional states differently to when you are with your dog and when not, and provide tips and suggestions from our animal behaviourist.
Silently Sick
Most dogs disguise their pain however there are signs like increased scratching is one of the strongest indicators of skin infections or allergies. It’s also the number one reason people bring their dogs to the vet. Increased licking can indicate joint pain, skin irritations, high stress levels, boredom, and more.
